Centennial Prayer for Holy Name High School

Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal Son of the Living God! All praise to You, whose Name is above all other names, whose Name is Holy: resplendent in brightness and glory.

For 100 years you have graciously blessed our school and through the dedication, the witness and example of pastors and administrators, women of religious consecration, devoted teachers and a steadfast staff Your Word has been imparted and your wisdom has formed hearts and minds.

Ever grateful, we ask Your continued blessings upon our school. Be mindful, O Lord, of our alumni and benefactors. Welcome into eternity those who have gone before us marked in faith. Instill within our hearts a burning desire to honor and to keep Holy Your Name.

As you have so blessed us may we, in turn, be a blessing to one another. Guide our actions, make vibrant our witness, and help us to grow in charity, in wisdom, and in generous service to your people. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, may our school community continue to be a reflection of your love and your constant mercy.

Confident in Your love and with sincere gratitude we ask this in Your Most Holy Name, through the Holy Spirit who lives and reigns with You as our One God, forever and ever. Amen.

All praise and glory to the Most Holy Name of Jesus both now and forever!
