High School counselors are professional educators that respond to the diverse challenges of teen-agers in the 21st century.  Holy Name’s school counselors adhere to the principles outlined by the American School Counselors Association National Standards that support four domains of student development including: Classroom Guidance; Individual Student Planning; Responsive Services; and System Support.  Each year, the department emphasizes each of these domains with varying activities and programs.  For a detailed description of each year, please explore the focus of each grade level.
