Independence, Parma and Holy Name competed in the Gilmour Academy Paul Primeau Invitational on Sept. 28.
Parma’s boys were 13th in the Grey Division and Independence was fourth and Holy Name eighth in the Blue Division.
On the girls side, Holy Name was fifth and Independence was sixth in the Blue Division and Parma finished 16th in the Grey Division.
Kyle Polman of Independence won the boys meet in the Blue Division with a time of 16:09.4 and teammate Ryan Kuzilla was third (17:12.3).
Holy Name’s boys were led by Kevin Masella with a 12th place finish (18:01.9), followed by David Terschak (18:29.6; 29th), Brian DePauw (18:45.7; 40th), Joe Stibley (19:40; 54th), Zach Hiidel (22:43.9; 81st), Ryan Madden (23:41.7; 86th) and Jay Cline (24:26.9; 87th).
Leading Holy Name’s girls was Therese Thomason with an 11th place finish (21:23.7), followed by Margaret Lysobey (22:22.5; 25th), Daniela McHugh (23:06.7; 33rd), Emilee Carlin (23:37.4; 47th), Carolyn Coughlin (24:08.7; 56th), Kathleen Kinnen (24:15.4; 58th) and Carolyn Brown (25:16.9; 70th).
