Holy Name football rides strong 1st half past Normandy, 34-14

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio – Holy Name football fell behind at Serpentini Stadium before answering with a 22-point second quarter and picking up its first win over the visiting Invaders, 34-14.

Holy Name is 1-1, Normandy is 0-2.

With his team down 7-0, Eric Youngblood answered for Holy Name with a first-quarter TD carry from one yard out.

Mike Messina opened the big second quarter for the Green Wave with a 16-yard scoring carry. Will Davis added a TD when he picked up a Normandy fumble and went 20 yards.
