Senior Brian DePauw has been named a National Merit Semi-Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Competition.
Last October, about 1.5 million juniors took the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of Semi-Finalists (16,000 total), which represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest scoring entrants in each state.
We congratulate Brian for his exceptional academic achievements and wish him luck as he competes to become a National Merit Finalist and scholarship winner.
