What to watch:
Last week’s severe weather wreaked havoc on Holy Name as the Green Wave was forced to complete the second half of it’s scheduled home game against Benedictine on the road at the Bengals’ practice field. Holy Name was trailing 35-7 in the third quarter when the game was stopped, and neither team scored after play resumed. Quarterback Mike Messina will target Dean Supelak and Trey Smith as the Green Wave looks to get its offense on track against their crosstown rivals.
The Bruins are coming off their most convincing win of the season, a 31-0 shutout on the road at Massillon Perry. Quarterback Brett James tossed three touchdowns and the defense got in on the scoring when senior DL Jake Hartman picked up a fumble and ran 77 yards for a score. Junior DBs Colin Fyock and Kyle Kaminski added late interceptions for Padua.
cleveland.com pick: Padua.
