NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY – Information Meeting Regarding the Application Process

Holy Name National Honor Society

Time: 2:40pm – 3:15pm

Where: HN Athletic Classroom 

On Tuesday, February 4th, there will be the one and only information meeting for any junior interested in applying for membership in the National Honor Society. Juniors who have maintained a 3.6 or above cumulative grade point average (including having participated in an Honors, PSEOP and/or AP course) and who meet the service, character and leadership requirements may apply for membership in the National Honor Society.

The mandatory meeting will be held in the Athletic Classroom promptly at 2:40pm. The meeting will be completed by 3:15pm.

In order to be considered for induction into the National Honor Society, attendance at the information meeting is MANDATORY.

Details of the application process will be explained at the meeting. Again, attendance at the information meeting is MANDATORY. See Mrs. Ritt or Mrs. Carter with any questions or concerns.

If a student who wants to be considered for membership is absent from school on the day of the information meeting, Mrs. Ritt must be notified of the student’s desire to apply for membership to the National Honor Society. Upon the student’s return to school, the student must immediately see Mrs. Ritt for the application materials.
