No. 10 Holy Name girls basketball slides past Warren John F. Kennedy

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — No. 10 Holy Name’s girls basketball got a 56-22 home win against Warren John F. Kennedy on Saturday.

Kim Cook led the Green Wave, scoring 16 points, while Toni Dickson added 15 points. Jackie Corrigan chipped in 10 points.

Calli Kowach scored 11 points for the Eagles.

With the win, the Holy Name girl’s basketball team secured the #1 seed at the Division 2 Elyria District today. The Lady Namers will open tournament play on Saturday February 15 at Holy Name’s Kenneally Gymnasium against Brooklyn. Tip off is set for 7:00 PM.
