Two member of the Green Wave earned Northeast Lakes All-District Recognition on Monday for the 2013-2014 season. Brad Karn was named to the first team, and Lawrynce Johnson was named to the second team. Karn is the team’s leading scorer at 19.7 ppg and 8.9 rpg, while Johnson averages 19.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 3.1 steals per game.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Here are the Northeast Lakes All-District boys basketball performers for 2014 as selected by a panel of area prep sportswriters.


First Team: Tervell Beck, Cleve. Central Cath., 6-7, soph., 18.5; Zavier Powers, Lake Cath., 6-2, sr., 20.5; Brad Karn, Holy Name, 6-4, sr., 19.4; Justin Robinson, Lake Cath., 6-1, jr., 18.7; Connor McLaughlin, Ashtabula Edgewood, 6-1,sr., 17.7; Cameron Kuhn, Vermilion, 6-0, sr., 22.4; John Cirillo, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, 6-5, sr., 24.5.
