AVON, Ohio — On Monday during the Northeast Ohio Baseball Coaches Association’s three All-Star games at All-Pro Freight Stadium in Avon a new class of coaches was inducted into the NEOBCA Hall of Fame.

The 2014 class featured six inductees: Chalker and Champion’s Tim Cope, Elyria West’s Tom Kubuski, Euclid’s Dennis Turkall, Fairless’ Terry Griffith, Holy Name’s Dave Wilks and Normandy’s Marty Kane.

The NEOBCA Hall of Fame started in 2007. The first class, the Class of 2008, was 33 members. Those 33 members are also inductees into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association. With the addition of this class, there are now 74 Ohio baseball coaches inducted into the Hall of Fame.
