Holy Name High School students and faculty members are excited to be a part of the Community West Foundation/Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals’ 2015 Straight from the Heart-Youth Movement Contest!
HN has 40 participants who were all provided with free Movbands to track their steps and mileage. They are now competing against other schools in Northeast Ohio, with the winners of this contest determined based on the average number of movements per student per day. HN is currently doing very well in the competition, and hopes to win the prize money to help improve Green Wave health and wellness facilities!
The contest runs from March 1 through March 31, after which teachers and students will be able to keep their devices for future use. The ‘HN Move Squad’ plans on doing some fun activities together to increase their steps and lead healthier lifestyles, so stay tuned this month for further details on their efforts.
