The Holy Name High School Boys’ Basketball Team won the North Ridgeville Division II District Title Game this past Saturday, and Namer Nation couldn’t be more excited! We are so proud of the team and coaches for their hard work, and congratulate them on moving on to play in the Regional Semi-Final Game versus Sandusky.

The game will be played at Bowling Green State University on Thursday, March 19, with the gametime set for 6:15 p.m. Because this is a great opportunity for our students to cheer on their classmates, Holy Name will be offering a school-sponsored bus to the game.

The cost to ride the bus will be $30, and this will include a ticket to the boys’ basketball game. It will NOT include food and/or beverages. Students are encouraged to bring money to make their own food purchases at the game.

The bus will be for Holy Name students only; however, Holy Name faculty members will be on the bus to serve as chaperones. Students will be supervised from the time they board the bus, until they return to school after the game. The bus will depart from Holy Name at 3 p.m. on Thursday to ensure an on-time arrival, and will leave Bowling Green immediately after the game has ended. We expect to return to Holy Name by 10:30 p.m.

If your student or students are interested in riding the bus, please turn in the medical authorization form and the permission slip form, along with $30, to the Main Office by 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 19. All forms will be available in the Main Office, and will also be emailed to parents and students. Cash or check payments (made payable to Holy Name High School) will be accepted. There is room for 50 students on the bus, so seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students must have all forms and money turned in before being permitted to ride the bus.

Pre-sale tickets for those families and students not riding on the bus will also be available beginning at Noon on Tuesday, March 17. If you have any questions about securing a spot on the bus, or about purchasing pre-sale tickets, please contact Athletic Director Jack Richardson at or (440) 886-0300 ext. 155.
