Last week, the Holy Name 2015-2016 Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleaders attended an AmeriCheer Camp at Baldwin Wallace University to prepare for the upcoming season.

Along with improving their skills and bonding as a team, the girls won several awards throughout the camp!

As a school, Holy Name Cheerleaders were awarded with a second place “Crowd Crazies” trophy, a first place ribbon for Theme Day and first place Spirit Award.

Senior Awards went to Class of 2016 Cheerleaders Eileen Benedict, Casey Farrell, Emily Farruggia, Megan Graham, Betsy Hindulak and Sammie Pechkurow.

During Final Evaluations, the JV Squad earned:

An Excellent Ribbon for Chants
A Superior Ribbon for Cheer
Award of Distinction
Spirit Award with Spirit Stick
Overall Excellence Trophy

During Final Evaluations, the Varsity Squad earned:

Most importantly, HN Cheerleaders demonstrated excellent teamwork, sportsmanship and spirit, helping the Westside Junior High Cheerleaders so they would be prepared for their daily evaluations.

Congrats to the HN Cheerleaders on a wonderful camp experience. We look forward to them leading Namer Nation in cheering on the Green Wave this fall!
