Last Thursday, January 7, Holy Name honored the Class of 2020 Scholars at a reception held at the school. All students recognized at the reception did exceptionally well on the Holy Name Placement Exam, and have been offered scholarships to Holy Name.
During the reception, Principal Shelbrey Blanc ’95 and Assistant Principal Karen Carter presented each student in attendance with a certificate of merit. Maureen Joyce, a current senior, then spoke about her time as a Holy Name student, sharing that she has been inspired to study music education next year due to her experiences in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities.
Rebecca Dreher ’10 also talked to the students and their families, explaining that Holy Name gave her the foundation to succeed as both an undergraduate student-athlete at Division I Indiana University, and as a current first-year dental student at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.
We congratulate all of our Class of 2020 Scholars, and are very proud of their accomplishments!
