Holy Name High School |  March 2016

Featured: 2016 Annual Fund Phonathon – Help Us Meet Our March Match!

We are just two days into the Phonathon, and our student callers have already received $2,850 in donations or pledges! For more information on the Phonathon, visit http://www.holynamehs.com/2016-phonathon-video/.

Students will continue the Phonathon the rest of this week and the week of March 7, making phone calls between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to alumni, parents, and friends.

Remember: if you make a donation or pledge between today and Thursday, March 31, your gift to the Annual Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $30,000, thanks to a loyal Holy Name alumnus!

To participate in the March Match, you can:

1. Donate or pledge your gift when a student caller contacts you during the Phonathon.
2. Make your gift online at http://www.holynamehs.com/donate-to-hn/.
3. Mail in your pledge or donation to Holy Name High School, Attn. Advancement Office, 6000 Queens Highway, Parma Heights, OH 44130.

More March Match updates will be sent throughout the next two weeks, and you can also find additional news on Holy Name’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Share these posts with fellow Holy Name supporters to spread the word about the March Match so we can meet our goal, and continue to offer an affordable, premier education to students in Northeast Ohio!

Athletics: Two Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent

Congratulations to seniors Shakif Seymour and Ashley Rings on signing national letters of intent in February! Shakif, also known as Fish, will continue his football career at the University of Toledo. Ashley will play girls soccer at the University of Findlay.

Fish and Ashley join fellow seniors Kailee Cunningham (West Liberty State University, volleyball) and Jordyn Kachmar (University of Hartford, volleyball) as members of the Holy Name Class of 2016 who are continuing their academic and athletic careers in college next year.

We are proud of all of these students for their many accomplishments, and are even prouder of the great leadership qualities they have shown while at Holy Name. We look forward to seeing them continue to excel in the classroom and on the field next year!

Alumni: Share Your Holy Name Memories for the 2016 Auction

The Gala Auction Committee is creating a presentation of the reasons why people support Holy Name – and we need your help! These brief but positive memories, or quotes, will be shared in a presentation made during the 2016 Rising Tide Gala Auction, taking place Saturday, April 23 in Holy Name’s Memorial Gymnasium.

All memories can be shared at http://www.holynamehs.com/holy-name-memories/. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 20. These memories can be about why you love your alma mater, why you feel it is so important to support the school, what you remember most from your time here, or what important lesson you took away from your experience as a student. We want to share with attendees the love our alumni (and friends) have for Holy Name, and in turn, we hope these quotes and memories spur attendees to give back and show their own support of Holy Name.

If you have any questions about the form, or about the Gala Auction, please visit http://www.holynamehs.com/auction2016, or contact Director of Constituent Relations Colleen Corrigan Day ’88 at (440) 886-0300 ext. 136 or at cday@holynamehs.com.
