The mission of the science department is to develop and promote scientific knowledge, technology and scientific literacy. The science department will offer safe hands-on educational opportunities allowing the student to develop the scientific method and discover the scientific process. Through these techniques students will develop critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and application skills, which in turn can be used in everyday situations.
