MEET THE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Hi, I’m Jurell Sison. I’ve spent more than ten years working in brand storytelling, digital strategy, and community-focused communication across higher education, nonprofit work, creative agencies, and collaborations with national brands and artists. Wherever I’ve been, my goal has stayed the same: use mission-driven storytelling to strengthen communities and help people feel connected. In the end, I think it’s stories that will save us.
At Holy Name, I oversee our marketing and communications strategy — everything from how we tell our story, to how we support families with clear and consistent information, to how we showcase the incredible work our students and staff are doing every day. I also lead our student marketing internship program, which gives students hands-on experience in writing, design, photography, and digital content creation.
I’m passionate about helping young people discover their voice, grow in confidence, and contribute to something larger than themselves. My hope is that the work we do not only reflects who we are as a school, but also helps shape the next generation of creative thinkers, leaders, and storytellers.
If you’d like to collaborate or learn more about our work, I’d love to connect.
