Daily Prayer
Prayer is woven into the rhythm of each day at Holy Name
-
Each school day begins and ends with student-led prayer, inviting our community to place our work, relationships, and challenges into God’s hands. Through Scripture, traditional prayers of the Church, and shared intentions, students learn that prayer shapes everyday life.
-
Students are also invited to gather for communal prayer throughout the week in the Chapel:
Mondays — Rosary (7:25 AM)
A time to reflect on the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary and begin the week grounded in peace.Tuesdays — Morning Offering (7:25 AM)
A brief Scripture reflection and prayer dedicating the day to God’s love and guidance.A Space for Personal Prayer
The Chapel of the Holy Name of Jesus remains open to students seeking quiet time with God — before school, after school, during lunch, or in study hall. It is a place to pause, reflect, and find peace amid the busyness of the day.
-
Families may request to have a Mass offered for a deceased loved one. If you would like to schedule a Mass intention, please contact Deacon Mark at mtomecko@holynamehs.com or call (440) 886-0300 x158. While not required, a small donation to the Chapel or Holy Name’s Campus Ministry is appreciated.

As a school bearing the Holy Name of Jesus, we often pray a special prayer entrusted to our community — asking Christ to form our minds, strengthen our bodies, and deepen our faith.
This prayer expresses who we are and who we are becoming as a Holy Name family.
THE HOLY NAME PRAYER
Jesus,
your Holy Name is written on our hearts.
Make us curious in mind,
strong in body,
and faithful in spirit.
Bless the friends who walk beside us,
the teachers who lead us,
and the halls that shape us.
Teach us to think with wisdom,
remember with gratitude,
and proclaim our faith with love.
Let everything we do
bring glory to your Holy Name.
Amen.
DIFFERENT HERE.
It all begins with a Name. The Name that grounds our faith, strengthens our work, and shapes our hearts—Jesus.
At Holy Name, Faith is our foundation. Excellence is built through hard work. Community means no one stands alone. Fortitude stands firm in adversity. Being a Namer means bearing His Name proudly— and that makes all the difference.
