Encounter the Real and True Presence of Jesus

Eucharistic Adoration is a sacred opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. In the quiet of the Chapel, students are invited to step away from the noise of daily life and spend time with the Lord — offering their prayers, listening for His voice, and simply resting in His presence.

Adoration helps students deepen their love for the Eucharist, grow in personal prayer, and discover the peace that comes from being close to Christ.

Eucharistic Adoration

  • Fridays — 7:00–7:45 AM
Chapel of the Holy Name of Jesus
    Benediction at 7:35 AM

Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to stop in for a few minutes or remain for the entire time before the school day begins. It is a powerful way to start Friday grounded in prayer and focused on what matters most.

  • Three times each year — in September, during Advent, and during Lent — Holy Name hosts special Family Adoration Days.

During these extended times of prayer, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Chapel from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and students and their families are invited to come and pray at any point throughout the day.

These days offer a meaningful opportunity for families to pause together in the presence of Christ, seeking peace, strength, and unity through prayer.

Visitors are also invited to leave a personal note for their student, letting them know they were prayed for during this sacred time.

  • The Chapel of the Holy Name of Jesus is a sacred space at the heart of our school — a place where students can bring their hopes, fears, gratitude, and questions before God.

Whether staying for a few moments or an extended time of prayer, Adoration invites students to experience a deeper relationship with Christ and to carry that peace back into their classrooms, friendships, and daily lives.

  • During Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament is placed in a sacred vessel called a monstrance and displayed on the altar. Students may pray silently, read Scripture, pray the Rosary, reflect on personal intentions, or simply sit in quiet with the Lord.

There is no required format — Adoration is an invitation to be present with Christ in whatever way helps you pray most deeply.

  • Students often assist in preparing the Chapel for Adoration and may serve as prayer leaders, musicians, or readers during Benediction. These opportunities allow students to take an active role in the spiritual life of the school while growing in reverence for the Eucharist.

DIFFERENT HERE.

It all begins WITH A NAME. THE NAME that grounds our faith, strengthens our work, and shapes our hearts—Jesus. at holy name, faith is our foundation, hard work builds EXCELLENCE, and heart brings it all to life. being a namer means bearing his name proudly—and that makes all the difference.
