MASS AT HOLY NAME

The Source and Summit of Our Faith

At Holy Name High School, the celebration of the Mass — especially the reception of the Eucharist — is the heart of our Catholic identity. The Eucharist, instituted by Christ himself, is the true presence of Jesus: His Body and Blood given for us.

At Mass, we listen to God’s Word proclaimed in Sacred Scripture, offer our prayers as a community, and are strengthened by Christ to live as His disciples in the world. Because the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, we strongly encourage all students and families to participate in Mass every Sunday at their home parish.

Regular participation in the Mass deepens our relationship with Christ, unites us as members of God’s family, and forms us to live lives of faith, courage, and service.

MASS AT HOLY NAME

DIFFERENT HERE.

It all begins WITH A NAME. THE NAME that grounds our faith, strengthens our work, and shapes our hearts—Jesus. at holy name, faith is our foundation, hard work builds EXCELLENCE, and heart brings it all to life. being a namer means bearing his name proudly—and that makes all the difference.
