Support Holy Name
Your volunteer hours could become a gift
Many employers award grants to the places their employees volunteer — programs often called “Dollars for Doers.” If you give your time to Holy Name in any way, your company may turn those hours into dollars for our students.
That’s what most volunteer-grant programs pay for every hour you give — and 40% of Fortune 500 companies offer one. A season of concession stands, open houses, or retreat days could become real money for our students. Source: Double the Donation

How to prove your hours
Companies usually just want a simple log: the dates, the hours, and what you did. Keep it in your phone’s notes as you go — and if your company needs confirmation, Vicki will verify your hours with them.
Good questions
Questions, answered
Anything else? Vicki will look up your company’s program for you — just ask.
Is there a deadline?
It varies more than matching gifts: some companies want requests within 30 days of volunteering, others accept a whole year’s hours at once. Search your employer above to see its window.
Do I need exact records of my hours?
Almost never. A simple log of dates, hours, and what you did is enough for nearly every program.
My company isn’t in the search results.
Email Vicki. She’ll check with your company directly — some programs are only advertised on the company’s own intranet.
How much is an hour worth?
Most programs pay $8 to $15 per hour; some pay more or award a flat grant once you cross a threshold like 25 or 50 hours.
Does this cost me anything?
No — you’ve already given the hours. The grant comes from a budget your company set aside for exactly this.
